SAT Prep

T.J. Stokes, a budding musician with a 4.43 Grade Point Average, is a gifted student poised for success.  The Kecoughtan High School Valedictorian excelled in an impressive array of Advanced Placement courses, to include AP Calculus, AP American History, AP English Language and Composition, and AP Spanish V.  But after earning a 1160 composite score on his initial SAT exam, T.J. enrolled in a TeachersBox SAT Prep Camp to increase his content knowledge and enhance his meta-cognitive strategies.  The result: a 220 point increase for a composite score of 1380 on the Critical Reading and Mathematics sections and a total score of 2050.

“I’ve always been one of the top students in my graduating class, so initially it was tough accepting feedback to improve my essay.  But I knew that TeachersBox had worked with students who’ve matriculated to M.I.T, Princeton, and West Point, so I implemented all of their strategies during my subsequent test administration.  Both my parents and I are really glad that I did because I can’t beat the results.”
