SAT Prep Seminars in Chesapeake FAQs

TeachersBox LLC is conducting a series of college readiness seminars designed to prepare rising high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors to improve their scoring potential on the PSAT, SAT, and ACT Exams.  Conducted at the Russell Memorial Library in Chesapeake, the July 17th July 24th, and August 7th workshops will equip students with proven strategies to increase their scoring potential.

WHO WILL TEACH MY CHILD?

The seminars at Russell Memorial Library will be instructed by Mikael Davis, a former International Baccalaureate teacher and school administrator who currently serves as the Founder and Chief Academic Officer of TeachersBox LLC, an educational consulting practice that helps public and private school leaders infuse research based strategies into every classroom.  Mr. Davis earned a Master of Arts degree in Education and Human Development from the George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the College of William and Mary.

In addition to developing TeachersBox and administering the Center for Education and E-Learning at the University of Richmond’s School of Continuing Studies, Mr. Davis serves on the Board of Directors for Summit Christian Academy, providing oversight for the K-12 classical Christian school, to include budget analysis and forecasting, strategic planning and development, instructional leadership and training.

HOW ARE THE SEMINARS FORMATTED?

To ensure exceptional instructional delivery in a small class environment, space is limited to 10 students per session on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Verbal and Essay Skills Review Session: July 17th (1:00 pm – 5:00 pm)
  • Math Skills Review Session: July 17th (1:00 pm – 5:00 pm)
  • Practice Test and Personal Statement Session: (10:00 am – 4:00 pm)

Parents can save $70 with Independence Day Registration through July 7th and pay only $229.
